Youth Afterschool Cooking Series


A Series designed around a theme that will equip young chefs to learn proper knife and measuring skills, how to use herbs and spices creatively, safety and helpfulness in the kitchen while enjoying a meal (unless otherwise noted) made by their own hands. Registration includes recipe packets and complete hands-on cooking and cleaning experience.  Class size is limited to 6 students, ages 6-12 years old.  **COVID Precautions will be taken to ensure everyone's safety.

“Sweet and Savory: Apples & Pumpkins”  4 Week Series

Menu: Mini Pies, Savory Pumpkin Alfredo, Homemade Apple Sausage and more. Cost: $99 + $35 supplies; Wednesdays, Sept. 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5 Thursdays, Sept. 15, 22, 29 & Oct.6; 4:30-6:30pm


“Cookie Making and Baking” 2 Day Series  

Menu: Icebox, Rolled and Pressed Cookies    Cost: $50 + $18 supplies; Wednesdays, Nov. 2 & 9, 4:30-6:30pm


“Advanced Cookie Making and Baking” 2 Day Series 

(Ages 9-14 years)

Menu: Icebox, Rolled and Pressed Cookies incorporating more advanced baking techniques

Cost: $50 + $18 supplies; Wednesdays, Nov. 3 & 10, 4:30-6:30pm

“International Brunch: Winter Camp” 2 Day Camp

Brunch recipes from Spain and England including Cranberry Orange Scones and Sausage Cheese Frittata

Cost: $75 + $15 supplies; Tues. & Wed., Dec. 27 & 28th, 10:30-1pm

“Fall Soup, Bread and Dessert”- One Day Class

Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Tuesday, October 11, 4:30-6:30pm


“Halloween Sweets and Treats”- One Day Class

Menu: Marshmallow Popcorn, Halloween Popcorn, and Brownies; Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Thursday, Oct. 20th OR Tuesday, Oct. 25th; 4:30-6:30pm


“Owl & Spider Cupcake Decor” One Day Classes    

Menu: Chocolate Swirl Cupcakes with Homemade Buttercream made into Spooky treats. Cost: $25 + $10 Supplies Fee;  Wed. Oct. 26 OR Thur. October 27; 4:30-6:30pm

"Mini Thanksgiving Feast"- One Day Class

Menu: Stuffed Turkey Breasts, Scalloped Sweet Potatoes, and Fruit Crumble

 Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Wednesday, Nov. 16th OR Thursday, 17th, 4:30-6:30pm


“Mexican Holiday Fiesta”- One Day Class

Menu: Homemade Corn Tortillas, Mexican Pizzas and Churro Muffins

Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Wednesday, Nov. 30th OR Thursday, Dec. 1st, 4:30-6:30pm


“Christmas Cookies”- One Day Class

Menu: Holiday Pressed Cookies and Candy Cane Blossoms

Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Wednesday, Nov. 7th  OR Thursday, 8th, 4:30-6:30pm


“Christmas Sweets”- One Day Class

Menu: Christmas Wreath Cookies, Peppermint Truffles, and Fancy Dipped Pretzels

Cost: $25 + $12 supplies; Tuesday, Dec. 13th OR Wednesday, 14th, 4:30-6:30pm
