Youth Afterschool Cooking Series

AVON LAKE, OHIO 

A Series designed around a theme that will equip young chefs to learn proper knife and measuring skills, how to use herbs and spices creatively, safety and helpfulness in the kitchen while enjoying a meal (unless otherwise noted) made by their own hands. Registration includes recipe packets and complete hands-on cooking and cleaning experience.  Class size is limited to 6 students, ages 6-12 years old.  **COVID Precautions will be taken to ensure everyone's safety.

Italian Soups and Casseroles-  4 Week Series

Menu: Meatball and Pasta Soup, Chicken Parmesan Stuffed Shells and various Italian Desserts. Cost: $99 + 25 supplies-Wednesdays, January 20, 27 February 3 & 10th OR January 21, 27, February  4 & 11th; 4:30-6:30pm

 

At Home Chinese Takeout -4 Week Series

Menu: Meat and Veggie Eggrolls, Steamed Potstickers, Honey Orange Shrimp and More. Cost: $99 + 25 supplies- Wednesdays, March 10, 17, 24, & 31  OR Thursdays, March 11, 18, 25, & April 1; 4:30-6:30pm

Homemade Pasta Making Workshop- Two Day Series

Menu: Young Chefs will be making various shapes and styles of pastas and sauces.

Cost: $45+ 15 supplies; Wednesdays, April 14 & 21 OR Thursdays, April 15 & 22; 4:30-6:30pm

Spring Break Camp 2021

Hot Sammies, Cookies and Gardening- 3 Day Camp

Menu: Waffled Grilled Cheese, Egg and Bacon Roll, Italian Panini, Red Velvet Crinkle, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies plus planting and preparing Chef Amee's garden for the summer.  Cost: $99 + 25 supplies. Tuesday-Thursday, April 6-8th; 10:30-1pm

Winter/Spring

One and Two Day Classes

AVON LAKE, OHIO 

Join me at my Cooking Cottage in Avon Lake as I enjoy the winter & spring frigid temps inside while creating warm, comforting foods and desserts along with teaching a variety of crafts. Ages 6-12 years.

Snowflakes Sweets and Treats Workshop- One Day Class

Menu: Pressed and Piped Snowflake Cookies and Snowflake Pretzel Wands  COST: $25 + $10 Supplies Fee- Wednesday OR Thursday, February 24 or 25th; 4:30-6:30pm

Cooking and Gardening - One Day Workshop

Menu: Grilled Shrimp Salad with Cheesy Garlic Knots + young chefs will be planting in Chef Amee’s garden. Cost: $25 + 10 supplies; Wednesday, May 5th OR Thursday, May 6th; 4:30-6:30pm

 

Bumble Bee and Lamb Sweets Workshop- One Day Class

Menu: Young Chefs will be making Bumble Bee Cookies, Lamb Pretzel Pops, and more. Cost: $25 + 10 supplies; Wednesday, May 12th OR Thursday, May 13th; 4:30-6:30pm

Please make sure to fill out this registration form after registering for a class or camp with Chef Amee.  If you have already filled one out within a year of taking a class or camp, I should have one on file already.
