Kid/Teen Cooking Classes


A Workshop Series designed around a theme that will equip young chefs to learn proper knife and measuring skills, how to use herbs and spices creatively, safety and helpfulness in the kitchen while enjoying a meal (unless otherwise noted) made by their own hands. Registration includes recipe packets and complete hands-on cooking and cleaning experience. 

Class size is limited to 7 students, ages 6-13 years old.



"Everything Italian" Afterschool Cooking Series-

Menu: Homemade Cheese Raviolis, Tortellini, Wedding Soup, Spaghetti with Meatballs and various Italian Desserts.


COST: 4 weeks ($99 + $25 supplies)

Wednesdays, Feb. 5, 12, 19, and 26; 4:30-6:30pm OR 

Thursdays, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27; 4:30-6:30pm

Homeschool Day Series: Thursdays, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27; 11am-1pm

“Breakfast Sandwiches, Kids Cocktails & Muffins” 3 Day Spring Break Camps

Menu: Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagels, Lemon Berry Muffins, Orange Smoothies, plus much more.  Cost: $110 + $25 supplies

Avon School Break: March 25-27th; 10:30am-1:30pm OR

Avon Lake School Break: April 15-17th; 10:30am-1:30pm


“Crazy Quesadillas & No-Bake Sweets” Cooking and Gardening Afterschool Series- 3 Week Series


Menu: Cheeseburger Quesadillas, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars and much more.

Cost: $75 + $15 supplies; Wednesdays, April 29, May 6 & 13th OR Thursdays, April 30, May 7 & 14th; 4:30-6:30pm

Winter/Spring 2020

One and Two Day Classes


Join me at my Cooking Cottage in Avon Lake as I enjoy the winter & spring frigid temps inside while creating warm, comforting foods and desserts along with teaching a variety of crafts. Ages 6-14 years.

Menu: Cheeseburger Soup & Overnight Rustic Bread and Broccoli Cheese Soup & Homemade Biscuits Cost: $50 + $10 supplies; Wednesdays, Jan. 15 & 22 OR Thursdays, Jan. 16 & 23; 4:30-6:30pm

“February- Playing with Chocolate”

One Day Cooking Class


Menu: Cocoa Rubbed Chicken with Baked Potatoes and a Variety of Homemade Chocolates

Cost: $35 + $10 supplies; Monday, Feb. 17th; 11am-2pm


“March- Italian Dinner & Dessert”

One Day Cooking Classes  

Menu: Spaghetti and Meatballs with Italian Wedding Cookies; Thursday, March 5; 4:30-6:30pm

Menu: Homemade Lasagna with Chocolate Valencia Pastries; Thursday, March 12; 4:30-6:30pm

Cost: $20 + $10 Supplies Fee


“April- French Breakfasts”

Holiday Sweater & Mitten Cookies and Gum Drop Pops
December 11 or 12, 5:00-7:00pm, Ages 6-12 years
Young chefs will be backing and decorating homemade sugar cookies shaped into sweaters and mittens as well as creating gum drop pops as holiday figures. 
Cost: $29 for Avon Lake Resident
$34 non-resident
